OML Adds Ethiopia as Recipient Country

OML is assisting Myungsung Christian Medical Center (MCM)* in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with creating a biomed library for its medical college. The academic institution, with the capacity to train around 180 medical students, will begin instruction this fall and serve as a teaching hospital. This will increase the quality of health care within the country and reduce the number of Ethiopians who travel abroad seeking better medical services. MCM will greatly benefit from medical textbooks and reference books published within the last three years and journals published within the last year.

The most economical shipping method from America is using United States Postal System (USPS) “Priority Flat Rate.” It will cost approximately $60 for up to a maximum of 20 pounds. The boxes, as well as the US Customs forms, are free of charge and available at your local USPS branch. Please be sure to indicate on the customs form that the shipment is a “gift.”

The shipping address is:
Myungsung International Development
Myungsung Christian Medical Center
P.L.C Bole Kifle Ketema
Kebele 11
P.O.Box 15478
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

*Myungsung Christian Medical Center (MCM), better known as the Korean Hospital, was founded in 2004 by the Myungsung Presbyterian Church of Korea Mission. MCM’s mission is to show the love of Jesus Christ by providing advanced medical services to the people in Ethiopia.
